Flexible Packaging Trends in North America

Flexible packaging in North America continues to grow fueled by industry expansion in the United States. It is the nation's second largest packaging segment, garnering about 18 percent of the $150 billion packaging market. 

Because of a growing consumer focus on convenience and sustainability, general flexible packaging use has been growing rapidly in North America both in absolute and percentage terms. It is perceived. It is no longer just a low-cost option to package industrial goods and produce. It has become more popular than traditional options, frequently replacing metal cans, glass and rigid plastic bottles, and cartons.

Resins for flexible plastics continue a strong upward trend, as flexible formats replace rigid alternatives in metal, glass and plastic. The choice of materials and material layers is determined by the specific properties and demand. 

Thanks to evolving technologies, flexible packaging is increasingly becoming a viable alternative to rigid packaging. On a global level, innovation has impacted how flexible packaging.
